The past six months have been loaded with new opportunities to explore the world around me and learn more about it.
This was my first time in Florida, so I didn’t really know what to expect when it came to the environment other than what I had heard from people who had visited or from what I saw on television. Overall, the experience was great and while the actual beach itself wasn’t much different from the beaches I had been to before, the weather was beautiful for January and the area we stayed in was gorgeous and had plenty for us to do!
We got some sun on Deerfield Beach, explored the Deerfield Art Festival, had incredible lobster dumplings and sushi at Lemongrass in Delray Beach, traversed the Wakodahatchee Wetlands, observed the Hillsboro Inlet Lighthouse, enjoyed ice cream at the Frosty Point Ice Cream Parlor, and hiked the Hugh Taylor Birch State Park where we walked around an over 200-year-old Banyan tree.
All-in-all, it was a great trip and one that I’ll remember for a long time to come. Take a look at what we captured with the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom on our adventures!
